The dangers of milk containing antibiotics for humans

For many years, there have been many discussions regarding the presence of antibiotics in milk and food for human consumption, which has been recommended for the period of banning the consumption of milk and meat during the consumption of antibiotics by livestock.

The presence of antibiotics in milk has many side effects, and the dose of antibiotics added indirectly to food should be minimized.

One of the side effects of using antibiotics in milk is allergic reactions (sensitivity) in a person, and antibiotic resistance in a person is also one of the problems of using milk containing antibiotics in humans.

The resistance created in the body to the antibiotic causes that drug to be no longer effective in the treatment when the person is sick, because the body has already encountered that drug and the microbes have become resistant to it.

In the processing and fermentation dairy industries where milk is converted into yogurt or other dairy products, if antibiotics are present in the milk, it does not allow the milk to be converted into dairy products of good quality. It also causes a lot of economic and biological damage to humans.

Antibiotics are used in the treatment of some livestock diseases. For example, cow mastitis in the form of local treatment with antibiotics causes the drug to be transferred into the milk and causes disease. Therefore, until the consumption of milk and animal meat is avoided, the consumption of the milk of that animal should be prohibited in proportion to the antibiotic that has been consumed. and prevent animal slaughter.
